What This Pump Does
The Misting Booster Pump (Model 92100) increases pressure from your hose faucet (typically 40–60 PSI) up to 160 PSI. This extra pressure helps extend mist coverage and improves mist fineness when hose pressure is low or runs are long.

Standard Mist Tubing Limits
Orbit's standard 3/8" mist tubing is rated for 45–120 PSI working pressure. At the pump's full 160 PSI output, the tubing exceeds its working pressure rating and risks failure (burst or rupture).

When This Pump Works Best
The booster pump is designed for:

Garden hose faucets delivering less than 40 PSI static pressure
Mist system runs longer than 75 feet
High-pressure misting systems

Not Recommended For
Standard Orbit mist system kits with runs under 75 feet or stock rubber tubing run at full pump output (160 PSI).
