I purchased this after the 8 pattern trigger nozzle from orbits started leaking. They quickly honored there warranty and i decided to try this out. It’s not an 8 pattern but after using this wand i realized I did not need that many. The convenience of having a wand is much better for my use case. The fact that they wand extends out is a big plus for me you can clean gutters with this no ladder needed. My wand extends on its own when the water is on and I’m spraying don’t think it’s a feature just what happens because of the water pressure. But i like it makes my neighbor think it’s mechanical or electric. The material this one is made out of is in my opinion heavy duty compared to what you get at the big box stores. I have a different brand wand i purchased before this one and it now feels flimsy and cheaply made 8 pattern wand compared to this one. All of that to just simply say that i am really satisfied with this wand. If your looking for one and don’t need it to have 8 different patterns you wont be disappointed with this wand. If your in the market for a auto extend wand when the water is on then this is the one you are looking for. Hope this helps.

This watering wand has worked for me for several years until the threads wore out of the plastic connector. On the replacement I will add an additional coupling that can stay on the unit instead of connecting directly to the hose. That on and off wore it out. Unfortunate!
