The Wi-Fi Bluetooth connectivity is unacceptable. The extremely high RSSI value of negative 47 with the Hub sitting right next to and in between the timer and the router. This should absolutely be a zero RSSI but it's not. Not happy and will likely return the XD timer that I bought and by the Gen 2 timer for testing to see if it's any better.
Thank you for sharing your review and thoughts about the connectivity strength with one of our smart devices. Our Customer Care team is happy to discuss your concerns and help to troubleshoot any product issues that may be experienced. It appears to be a wonderful product but the batteries on the units fluctuate from 47 to 100 even with new batteries in it you really never know when to put in a new battery
Thanks for sharing your review on the battery level of our Flood Sensors fluctuating. Please do try resetting the sensors by pressing the 'b' on them 5 times rapidly. Our Customer Care team is happy to discuss your product concerns and to further help with troubleshooting for any issues that may be experienced. We can be reached by phone at (800)488-6156 or online at support.orbitonline.com. Have a great rest of your day.

Easy to setup. One under washer, one beside water heater, one under kitchen sink. Now let’s see if it works!
J
The batteries were 30% or less

I don’t know! I just got it! Thank God I haven’t had any water leaks. The setup was pretty easy once I figured it out. So! Far, so good. Also! The price for the hub and the smart flood sensors, I thought was great!

Easy to setup. Batteries included. No complaints. Able to place all over house with strong signal. Would buy again.
B
We run many of these, as both water and temperature safeguards. It is a great product.. Please continue to refine and improve on it.

Setup was a bit frustrating. 1400 sq ft house really needs at least 2-3 hubs.I installed 13 huba total. Weak signal on a few units. Also battery went to 25% on a number of units within 2 days. I hope they were shipped with old batteries and it’s not constantly loosing signal tanking the battery life. I bought these on sale and am hopeful with fresh batteries and another hub or two things will improve.
Thanks for taking the time to leave your review about the signal for our Gen 2 Hubs and the battery percentage for our Flood Sensors. Our Customer Care team would be happy to further discuss any product concerns that you have and help to troubleshoot any issues that may occur. We can be reached by phone at (800)488-6156 or online at support.orbitonline.com. Have a great rest of your day.

Product was extremely easy to setup and use. Only thing I wish is that the product came with fully charged batteries.

Most economical way to buy the Hub and getting Flood Sensors that can be used in several locations throughout your home. Those more often suggested are under the water heater, in your laundry room and under the kitchen sink.
The hub now lets me control the watering of my yard when I’m not there too.
D
I got this for the hub and it works great for our set up
J
Everything is working great just wish it were easier to just get the hub for a good price.

Thanks

I had ordered the WiFi Hub a couple of years ago, but I was never able to connect it to my WiFi network. I talked to tech support, but we couldn't get it to work, so they refunded 100% of what I paid. Two years later I decided to give it another shot, so I got the WiFi Hub & Flood Sensor 3-Pack, which was cheaper than the WiFi Hub by itself.
I wsa able to getting it connected to my WiFi on my first try, super easy! The Flood Sensors are great too! I can now control my hose timers remotely. I'm happy with my purchase.

Great to gift

Having a plan for eight first made the deployment straightforward.
E
Great buy. The hub was able to connect with my existing automatic water system without a problem. As I stated in my previous review, one of the flood sensors saved me money and anxiety when one of them alerted me to a leak in the kitchen. So thankful for these.
W
The range of connection is far too short. Give or take, 25’ is the max range. If there was only one sensor that you were using then this would be fine, but I’m attempting to use all three in multiple rooms.
Thanks for leaving your review about the range for our Flood Sensors being short. The range for these devices are about 150 ft, though walls and other interferences may reduce this. Our Customer Care team is happy to discuss your product concerns and help with troubleshooting further, we can be reached by phone at (800)488-6156 or online at support.orbitonline.com. Have a great rest of your day.

One sensor has stopped working after one day and will not keep operating no matter what you do.
R
No flood yet, but I feel very secure with the B-hyve flood sensors. Hopefully I will never hear their alarm. Very satisfied with the product.
D
Easy to install and use.
C
Set up was fairy easy., we’ll see if it works when needed.,

I always love Orbits products. My lawn sprinkler system has been a god send. It’s keeps my system watering adequately and stays off when it expects rain. I figured let’s try this water leaking system. Set up super easy and quick.
I did test each location: the results. The system does send a quick message to your phone. However the alert alarm from the actual pod is super low. That needs to be louder especially if you don’t exactly remember exact location of the pod itself.
I have been trying to figure out away to have the water leaking alert sent to all house members. So far it’s seems impossible. So system works but limited
Thank you for letting us know about your feedback regarding our B-hyve flood sensors. We will forward this feedback over to the appropriate teams to try and make improvements for the future. Dead batteries upon arrival

Great product. I tested it to see quickly it would detect a water leak and after a couple of seconds of sensing water the alarm went off. The sound of the alarm isn’t as loud as I’d like but it’s still noticeable. All in all, I’m happy with the Orbit B-have leak detector.
B
Do the sensors transmit a low battery alert to the application?
Yes, the Flood sensors will send an alert when the battery is low.
