Description
The PVC-Lock slip-fix slide repair is the fastest way to repair a broken section of pipe. PVC-Lock fittings are designed for both constant and non-constant pressure outdoor irrigation use as a direct replacement for Schedule 40 PVC fittings. Tested to IGC 300 standards, PVC-Lock is able to withstand even the harshest of conditions in mainline valve-in and lateral line valve-out irrigation applications. Stainless steel teeth grip the pipe tightly, and a special O-ring creates a watertight seal. You can immediately pressurize the system with no wait time for joints to cure. The PVC-Lock removal tool enables easy maintenance and reuse of the fittings.
The typical use case for a slide repair is to cut out the damaged section of pipe, bevel the pipe ends with the PVC-Lock tool, insert the PVC-Lock slide repair on one end, insert a PVC-Lock coupling on the other end, and push the slide repair piston into the coupling. For longer pipe breaks you can use a piece of Schedule 40 pipe and an additional PVC-Lock coupling to span the extra distance. For outdoor irrigation use with cold water only.
