Enforcer® Motion Sensor

This replaces damaged versions of the controller mechanism on all Enforcer® models. Allows for proper function by detecting motion and activating sprinkler to deter yard and garden pests.

The sensor includes the small animal bracket (for adaptation to a lower sensor position for smaller critters) and mounting screw.  

Other replacement parts sold separately. Batteries for sensor not included.

Everything was great

Everything was great. The Rep. was kind & understanding. The sensor works fine & arrived in about a week. Why the original was bad on the brand new yard enforcer tells me it wasn’t checked before mailing.

The Orbit Yard Enforcer is crucial component in our defense against deer

The Orbit Yard Enforcer is crucial component in our defense against deer. We would have no flowers but for these motion activated sprinklers.

Unfortunately, the reliability of the sensing head and valve is poor. We get up to 3 years before having to replace something. When they go bad, some flowers disappear that same night. Orbit has honored its warranty on a few.

The batteries last 3 seasons, which is good. The 4th season freezes and we have drain any water and bring them in for storage, like everything else with water.

Not very reliable or sensitive

Not very reliable or sensitive. Set it up to spray pesky squirrels and even when they venture within 5-10 feet of the sensor, the water fails to go off. I've even set the unit as instructed to bypass the delay by holding the button for 20 sec.

Please make sure that the range adjustment isn't set too low, and that the angle of the sensor on the mounting arm is not too steep.
